About MacArthur

Welcome to MacArthur Elementary! We are located on the southwest side of Green Bay behind Southwest High School. Our 4K-5th family consists of approximately 275 students and over 50 professionals dedicated to making every child's school journey successful. MacArthur teachers and staff have high expectations and prepare lessons to incorporate STEM activities in the classroom.

“MacArthur Elementary has been wonderful for my child and has met my expectations. Throughout the years she has been there, the teachers have shown genuine care for my child and are very supportive. We have regular contact with my child’s teachers every year, through emails and meetings. They also make certain that as a parent, I know I can reach out at any time! All the teachers that my child has had go above and beyond to make sure that I am fully aware of the subject matter and how it is being taught in class. The principal is involved and truly leads by example. I feel she makes a point to get to know the students and their families personally. The kids are always excited to see teachers and staff at events.

The best aspect of MacArthur is hearing all of the exciting stories my child tells me about the fun lessons they've done in class. MacArthur gives off a small school atmosphere but offers the advantages of a big district with a variety of activities and events for families and kids to share in. To mention a few: Coding Club, Tech Girls, Art Club, Math Team, Science Fair, Carnival, Fall Fest, Family Bingo, and Field Trips. My child has flourished at MacArthur Elementary and the teachers and staff have helped her to soar academically and socially.”
