A huge shout out to Meijer Store 298 Howard for choosing MacArthur Elementary School for a $5,000 donation. Recently Meijer challenged teams across its six-state footprint to nominate local non-profit organizations deserving of special, one-time donations. Each team works together to identify, research, and vote for worthy organizations in their communities. Principal Kim Van Pay accepted the donation on behalf of the school.
